School Network Internet Access

FOR STAFF AND STUDENTS OF WINMALEE HIGH SCHOOL ONLY

Winmalee High School offers staff and students a variety of methods to access files and resources on the school's network using their home Internet connections.

Both staff and students may access their home directory files on the school's network by using the NetStorage link below. They may also use the school's Moodle Learning Environment to access a variety of course materials placed there by staff.

Staff may also use remote access methods to login to the network to use applications online.

NetStorage for Staff and Students

Using NetStorage you are able to upload and download files on the school network as well as undertaking a variety of other file tasks. You cannot run network applications. Netstorage is not available for general use from inside of the school network.

To use NetStorage - After you click on the NetStorage link, you will be asked for your DET Portal UserName and password.

The login part of this screen will look like this. Type in your DET Portal User name and password and click login.

You will then be taken to a webpage that will ask for another UserName, password and domain.

The login part of this screen will look like this. You will need to enter your SCHOOL Network UserName/Login Number and SCHOOL Network password and leave the Domain blank. Then click Logon.

If you are a student you will be presented with your School Home Directory and Teacher's "Dropboxes" / "Work To Do" folders.
