Students through participation in this project you will gain an understanding of the successes and problems incurred in constructing a school. You will develop a sense of time and chronology and an understanding of the impact that specific people and events had, on the establishment of this school. Your studies will provide you with a broad view of the local community and its relationship with the school. You will become aware of the presence of the Dharug Aboriginal peoples in this Blue Mountain's area and their traditional relationship to the land.
            This Research will provide you with an insight into the plethora of media reports on Winmalee High, highlighting the schools public face in Education. You will be able to construct a balanced picture of the school's History and investigate any issues surrounding it ,by conducting relevant research, using archival information and enlisting the aid of human resources. I.T. facilities will be utilised within the school context
