The purpose of this page is to help Develop research techniques, and show the guidelines/structure
of how to perform these important tasks.

An interview is a series of questions and answers. It can be in the form of a recount.
The interviewer (person asking the questions) asks the interviewee (person being interviewed)
to recount events. A good interviewer asks open-ended questions
that encourage the interviewee to provide an indepth answer. |

Historical recounts |
||

A historical recount retells events from the past. It entails usually the following structure: Orientation. This section introduces the audience to the particular time in history that will be the subject of the recount Retelling of events. A series of sentences or paragraphs, in chronological order that retell what happened Conclusion. A statement that indicates the end of the historical recount. Some comment could be made about the significance of the events. |
